SNOWBOARDING
Park Labs is designed to help riders on their first day in the park all the way up to 360s over medium park features. Park Labs focuses on core riding skills that help riders become more centered and generate power from their boards that allows them to pop, grab, spin and slide over features with confidence.
OUR SKILL PATHWAYS

-
Forms the cornerstone of our training methodology.
-
Athletes earn bronze, silver, and gold Bunsen stickers across key freestyle snowboarding skills.

-
Stickers can be collected and placed on a skills map to
track development.

TUBES
Tubes oversees all things fun! Tubes is all about Good Vibes, Fun and Safety!
At Park Labs, we take the concept of fun seriously! Alongside skill development, we prioritize:
-
Positive Mindsets: Visualization techniques, goal setting, and overcoming fear with Tubes'
good vibes sticker. -
Camaraderie and Teamwork: Encouraging athletes to support one another and forge lasting friendships with Tubes' good times sticker.
-
Safety: Teaching athletes to handle themselves in a park environment without a coach or team present, recognized with a Tubes' park “rule of the road” sticker.
TRAINING ENVIRONMENT
Central to our ethos is fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment where athletes can thrive. Structured sessions focus on mastering techniques such as popping, grabbing, spinning, 50/50s, and slides on small to medium park features. While free riding remains integral, every drill is tailored to enhance performance on park runs.
Freestyle athletes often exhibit free-thinking traits, such as ADD, ADHD, or dyslexia. One of Park Labs' owners, Shawn, shares these traits and knows how to design programs that cater to them.
WE EMPHASIZE
-
Culture
-
Visual and feel-based learning
-
Coaching delivered in small chunks with time for exploration
-
Visualization and positive mindsets
***The curriculum in freestyle cannot be too rigid as it doesn't fit the culture.
EVENTS + COMMUNITY
To complement our training program, we host Park Labs events designed to match athletes' skill levels.
Age categories are structured every two years, and a maximum trick limit ensures fair competition and
optimal opportunities for success. Join us at Park Labs, where we're not just shaping athletes—we're building a community.
